Terms of Service

Last updated on July 8, 2026

This is a courtesy translation. The French version prevails.

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of PimpSEO, an online SEO, UX and feature audit service based on a URL, intended for web agencies and freelancers.

2. Acceptance

Using the service constitutes full and unreserved acceptance of these terms. If you disagree, you must refrain from using the service.

3. Access to the service

The service offers a free plan and a paid (Premium) plan. Authentication is optional: without an account, the audit and history are kept locally, along with the 24-hour ephemeral share link; an account enables permanent saving.

4. User account

The user is responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials and for any activity carried out from their account.

5. Acceptable use

PimpSEO must be used fairly. The user agrees to:

  • only audit sites they own or for which they have a mandate;
  • not engage in mass scraping or bypass third-party site protections;
  • respect the robots.txt file and a reasonable request rate;
  • not misuse the service for unlawful purposes.

6. Availability

The service is provided “as is”. Certain features (browser rendering, AI enrichment, field data) may be temporarily unavailable; the service then applies graceful degradation and reports it in the audit.

7. Intellectual property

The service and its components remain the property of the publisher. Generated reports belong to the user who produces them.

8. Liability

The service provides information and recommendations for purely indicative purposes: they are automated, based on the analysis of a sample of pages, and guarantee no outcome. The publisher is bound by a best-efforts obligation only.

Changes made to the audited site following a report are the sole decision of the user and are implemented under their sole responsibility; it is up to the user to have them validated by a professional and to back up their site before any intervention. The publisher is not responsible for the performance of the audited site (search rankings, traffic, conversion, technical performance) nor for its evolution — upward or downward — whether or not resulting from the implementation of the recommendations.

9. Termination

The publisher may suspend access in the event of a breach of these terms. The user may stop using the service at any time; the terms of the paid plan are set out in the terms of sale.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, the French courts have jurisdiction.
